About The Position

Maintains hospital facilities in a clean and orderly condition to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff. Follows directions, work schedules, procedures, methods and instructions with regards to the use of specific materials and equipment. Responsible for maintaining floors to include carpet, tile, & sheet flooring maintenance, shampooing, bonneting, waxing, and stripping to the highest level of cleanliness/appearance. Assist in meeting room set-ups, deep cleaning of all areas as instructed (which includes terminal cleaning of patient areas/rooms). Will ensure all exit doors are secure during night and unlocked for morning business. Exhibits good judgment to self supervise, at times, to complete assignments. Equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand product labeling and comprehend mixing measurements of chemicals.
• Ability to understand specific verbal or written instructions and procedures.
• Experience in utilizing floor care machines including buffers, scrubbers, shampooers, and steam cleaners.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
