About The Position
Our client in Wayne County, MI is actively seeking a Civil Project Manager to join their growing team. The Project Manager will be responsible for having the following skills and carrying out the following tasks: Extensive experienced with a local heavy civil construction contractor. Must be dedicated to work full time do whatever it takes to get the job done. no remote work. (mandatory)
Requirements
- Proven ability to manage projects exceeding $20M
- Ability and knowledge to create estimates for change of work
- Great attitude, strong leadership, communication, and meeting-management skills
- Mandatory experience installing and managing underground water main, storm, and sanitary sewer systems
- Mandatory experience with HCSS Heavy Bid and HeavyJob
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- 5–10 years of heavy civil project management experience
- Proficient in job cost tracking, financial reporting, and change order management
- Experience creating and managing project schedules
- Ability to manage subcontract issuance and administration
- References from previous employers required
