About The Position

Ulliman Schutte is currently hiring experienced Pipelayers to join our team in Vienna, VA. As a national leader in the construction and renovation of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and utility infrastructure, we offer challenging and meaningful work that makes a lasting difference in communities across the U.S. The position involves working safely on large diameter ductile iron and PCCP pipe installations, prepping ground, cutting/aligning pipes, and sealing joints. You will work with the project Superintendent to prioritize work and will be expected to use concepts, procedures, and practices common for Pipe Layers. This role requires outdoor work in all types of weather.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and grades.
• Knowledge of pipe, joints, aggregates, etc.
• At least one (1) year experience as a Pipe Layer.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of formal training or apprenticeship.

Responsibilities
