Requirements
- 5+ years of civil construction estimating/cost control experience for both public and private construction projects
- Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid software
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local construction standards
- Ability to read blueprints, plans, and soil reports
- Clean driving record; occasional site visits required
- Background check, driving record check, and drug screening required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AgTek, BlueBeam Revu, Viewpoint Vista, or PlanSwift software
- Experience in both public and private sector projects
Responsibilities
- Estimate civil construction projects: grading, utilities
- Use HCSS HeavyBid software for estimating
- Obtain pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Lead bid reviews and coordinate with Business Development
- Maintain client relationships in the private sector
