Heating, Air-Condition and Refrigeration Technology Lab Assistant: Role: Under the supervision of the instructor, the Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology (HART) Lab Assistant provides technical assistance to students either in a classroom or laboratory setting and assists with teaching students according to established policies and procedures. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- AAS or Certificate in HART is required.
- One-year work experience in a related field required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a teacher or lab assistant is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides group instruction and one-on-one tutoring; communicates and explains familiar and new concepts to students with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of skills.
- Assists students in the use of equipment.
- Keeps the lab clean and organized.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
