About The Position

Rockmart Fuel Containment is seeking a dedicated Heater Helper to join their team at the Rockmart facility. This full-time, regular position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about contributing to the aerospace industry and are at the beginning of their career journey. As a Heater Helper, the individual will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with the operation of heating equipment used in the manufacturing of aerospace components. The primary responsibilities will include monitoring heating equipment, assisting with the setup and breakdown of heating elements, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will be someone who is eager to learn, reliable, and has a strong work ethic. Candidates MUST BE US PERSONS.

Requirements

• Less than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Exposure to a team-oriented workplace and the ability to collaborate effectively
• History of reliable attendance and punctuality in previous positions
• Experience in following both written and verbal work instructions
• Basic understanding of heating equipment and machinery
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and precision in work task
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies
• Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to the job
• MUST BE US PERSONS

Nice To Haves

• Experience with basic machinery and equipment preferred
• Any hands-on experience in a technical or mechanical role is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Supporting the production process by assisting with the operation of heating equipment used in the manufacturing of aerospace components
• Monitoring heating equipment
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of heating elements
• Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed
• Assist Heater Operator in preparation of product for cure
• Prepares set-ups for rigging
• Breaks out and removes plaster and/or cardboard from fuel cells within the safety, quality and specification guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
