About The Position
Admore®, Inc. has been in business for over 78 years. We are the largest manufacturer of premium presentation folders and related items, which are sold through qualified distributors and resellers across the country. We are a specialty, trade-only printer which offers offset printing, digital printing, foil stamping and embossing, UV coating, plastic film lamination, die-cutting, folding and gluing, as well as hand assembly and shipping all occurring at one location in Macomb, Michigan. SERIOUS APPLICANTS ONLY AIR CONDITIONED FACILITIES SUMMARY Operates Kluge press to emboss/deboss and foil imprint designs or information onto surfaces of material such as paper, plastic and cardboard following company quality standards and procedures to ensure accuracy. May be assigned to other departments as needed.
Requirements
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- A valid driver's license is required to operate hoisting equipment.
- Ability to work with specific computer software.
- All candidates must pass a pre-employment 5-panel urine drug screen to be considered for employment.
