Heat Treat Operator is responsible for operating CNC lathe and/or milling machine. Loads and inspects parts, changes offsets and tooling. Heat Treat Operator position ensures parts are heat treated through an induction heat treat process. Work is performed in a manufacturing setting standing and walking on concrete floors throughout an 8 to 12 hour shift with frequent handling of metal parts weighing 1 to 5 pounds, visual inspection, occasional bending or reaching, use of hand tools, use of up to 50 lbs. of force to move heavy loads on wheels.
