This position requires a mechanical and technical aptitude and an ability to follow work instructions. Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirement. Shift days/hours: This is full time, weekend night shift (Fri - Sun 630p-630a) .

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
  • 3+ years of machine operation and/or manufacturing

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of machine operation and/or manufacturing

Responsibilities

  • Able to read and follow work instructions
  • Measure and inspect forged parts to ensure conformance to product specifications
  • Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Measure concentricity using indicators
  • Able to read forge blueprints
  • Build heat-treat load per work instruction
  • Load/Unload furnace
  • Calculate time in furnace
  • Understand load diagrams and instructions
  • Complete mandatory heat code paperwork
