Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
• 3+ years of machine operation and/or manufacturing experience.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years of machine operation and/or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks related to forge/heat treat in a modern, manufacturing setting.
• Comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Measure and inspect forged parts to ensure conformance to product specifications.
• Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure a machine is working properly.
• Measure concentricity using indicators.
• Read forge blueprints.
• Build heat-treat load per work instruction.
• Load/Unload furnace.
• Calculate time in furnace.
• Understand load diagrams and instructions.
• Complete mandatory heat code paperwork.
