Heart Valve RN Navigator Cardiac Cath Full-Time Days
About The Position
Responsible for assuring that applicable patient standards of care, practice/performance are delivered within the Heart Center. Develops implements and updates policies and procedures for the Heart Center as required. Educates staff as appropriate. Assures that the Heart Center is compliant with regulatory standards of care. Functions as a liaison between the patient and medical staff. Demonstrates clinical expertise and assessment in the management of cardiac patients. Actively contributes to the mission and success of the Heart Valve Center through various activities. Assists with the Heart Failure Clinic patient management. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
- Current ACLS through American Heart Association
- Current NIH Stroke Certification
- Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in specialty area
