Our vision is to help more people hear better through life-changing hearing health and personalized care. Position Overview We are seeking a Support Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. This role is dedicated to patient aftercare and clinical support rather than hearing aid sales. You will play a critical role in ensuring an excellent patient experience by providing follow-up care, device maintenance, troubleshooting, and walk-in support for our patients. This position is ideal for a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist who enjoys hands-on clinical work, patient education, and building long-term patient relationships—without the pressure of sales goals or commissions.

Requirements

  • Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license (or eligibility per state requirements)
  • Strong technical skills with hearing aids and amplification devices
  • Patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to explain technical information in a clear, compassionate, and easy-to-understand manner
  • Team-oriented with a positive, supportive approach to patient care

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality follow-up and aftercare services to existing patients
  • Support walk-in patients with hearing aid checks, cleanings, adjustments, and troubleshooting
  • Perform routine hearing aid maintenance and minor repairs, including earmolds and accessories
  • Assist patients with proper hearing aid use, care, and best practices
  • Conduct device checks and basic technical evaluations to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaborate closely with Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists to support patient care plans
  • Support Telehealth and Remote Care initiatives, including patient coaching and device education
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
  • Ensure compliance with all professional licensing and continuing education requirements
  • Contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered clinic environment
  • All other duties as assigned
