About the Organization: This highly respected healthcare provider has served communities across Maine for years, specializing in home health and hospice care. Following the recent acquisition of a local audiology group, the organization is investing in expanding and strengthening its audiology services to better serve patients statewide. Role Overview: As a Hearing Aid Specialist, you will focus primarily on delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to the growth and development of the audiology department. Requirements

  • Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist (Maine licensure or eligible)
  • Strong clinical and technical competency in hearing aid fitting and programming
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a growing department
  • Passion for serving patients within a mission-driven organization

Responsibilities

  • Conduct hearing evaluations and screenings
  • Perform hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care
  • Provide counseling and education to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Build strong, long-term patient relationships
  • Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and retention
  • Work closely with internal teams to support referral growth
  • Assist with community outreach and patient education initiatives
  • Contribute to department goals and performance tracking
