The Healthy Opportunities Manager is the point-person for the Food Bank’s efforts in supportive services, including but not limited to North Carolina’s Healthy Opportunities Pilot (HOP), managing client intake, service implementation, and delivery logistics in an effort to improve health outcomes through wraparound, community-based services. The Healthy Opportunities Manager maintains communication with and adheres to operating guidelines set by the NC Department of Health & Human Services (NC DHHS) through local project leads. The Healthy Opportunities Manager manages a network of partner agency subcontractors, external program vendors for dry-goods and fresh produce, internal stakeholders, and neighbors to ensure equitable and high-quality service delivery of Healthy Food Boxes, Fruit & Vegetable Prescriptions, Prepared Meals, and Food & Nutrition Case Management.
