About The Position

The Healthcare Tech position at Inland Valley Medical Center involves providing essential support in a licensed 122-bed facility that serves as a designated Trauma Center and Paramedic Base Station in Southwest Riverside County. The role is critical in assisting with patient care, particularly in a fast-paced environment that handles a significant number of surgeries and emergency visits. The position requires effective communication skills, basic nursing knowledge, and the ability to interpret cardiac dysrhythmias, contributing to the overall quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic computer skills and typing proficiency.
• Knowledge of nursing care terminology and functions.
• Ability to interpret and analyze basic cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Six months of experience as a CNA preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Current California CNA License or EMT License required.
• BLS certification required; basic dysrhythmia certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.

• Basic dysrhythmia certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care and support nursing staff in daily activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
• Perform basic nursing care tasks as directed by registered nurses.
