About The Position

The Healthcare Strategist II position involves utilizing enhanced knowledge of healthcare project complexity to contribute to the overall success of the team. The role requires adherence to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design. The strategist will apply quantitative methodologies to optimize healthcare operations, focusing on improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness within healthcare facilities. This includes analyzing processes, designing systems, and implementing solutions to streamline patient care delivery and administrative functions. The strategist will also identify inefficiencies in healthcare processes and design improvements using data analysis and optimization techniques. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the design and layout of new healthcare facilities, preparing materials for client presentations, and collaborating with design teams to evaluate design options based on client-driven criteria.

Requirements

  • Professional degree in industrial engineering, systems engineering, business management/business administration (with quantitative focus), healthcare administration, data science, or other related degree.
  • LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
  • Proficiencies in analytical skills, graphic design, data visualization, and excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and data analysis software like Excel and Power BI.

Nice To Haves

  • LEAN and/or Six Sigma Greenbelt certification.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
  • Communicate effectively within the team and with designated team leader.
