About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is recruiting for Emergency Medicine Fellow(s) in H ealthcare Simulation and Education at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx (NCB) for the July 2026 to June 2027 academic year. T his is a unique partnership with the Institute of Medical Simulation and Advanced Learning’s Simulation Fellowship . Jacobi is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and NCB has 213 licensed beds. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM) to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. Opportunity Details: The Healthcare Simulation and Education fellowship is a one-year, full-time academic and clinical training program housed within a high-volume, urban Level 1 academic emergency department. It seeks to produce physicians versed in educational theories, curriculum development, simulations, and debriefs. Our fellows are expected to facilitate resident education, research projects and integrate simulation into quality improvement initiatives throughout the hospital system. They will ultimately go on to become leaders in the emergency medicine simulation community. The Healthcare Simulation Fellowship was established in 2021 and currently is training its 6 th and 7 th Fellows. Clinical time will function as an Emergency Medicine Attending and will work across two diverse campuses: Jacobi Medical Center and NCB. Join a top-tier Emergency Medicine Faculty at Jacobi Medical Center, affiliated with AECOM. Practice at a high-acuity, high-volume ACS Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Burn Center, and STEMI/PCI center. NCB ED boasts the highest patient satisfaction scores in NYC Health + Hospitals. Faculty appointments and teaching responsibilities at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (AECOM). Affiliated with the AECOM, Jacobi EM is a main teaching site for one of the premiere Emergency Medicine residency training programs in the country, with 84 total EM residents over 4 years. Jacobi EM is responsible for running Jacobi’s regional snake-bite center and a multi-person hyperbaric treatment facility that treat elective and emergency cases. The Department has active programs in ultrasound, simulation, hyperbarics, toxicology / addiction care, public health and advocacy, global health, education, and research. Successful candidates will be highly committed to excellence in patient care, education, and promoting scholarship to enhance the mission of the Department. Requirements

  • Annual Base Salary: $151,923
