About The Position

Converdia Health Staffing is seeking a Healthcare Recruiter to join their Sioux Falls, SD team. This full-time position involves full-cycle recruiting, from sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring. The recruiter will collaborate with client managers to ensure the best fit for healthcare facilities and clinicians, focusing on both PRN and travel placements. The role requires daily commuting to the office, emphasizing accessibility and relationship-building with local clinicians.

Requirements

• Proven work experience in Recruiting, Sales, Management, or a related field.
• Solid ability to communicate and take the lead when necessary.
• Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.).
• Professional phone and email etiquette.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit candidates via daily phone calls from databases, social media, and job boards.
• Screen candidates' resumes and job applications.
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods.
• Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, experience, and aptitudes.
• Assist with onboarding new employees.
• Sell job opportunities to qualified candidates.
• Provide analytical and well-documented recruiting reports to the team.
• Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships during the selection process.
• Manage diverse groups of people.
• Place candidates in facilities.
• Build relationships between recruiters and new hires.
• Work with HR to conduct disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
