This position involves collaborating with the interprofessional team in the delivery of quality patient/resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse. The role includes delivering care with consideration to populations served, including age-specific needs and care, contributing to overall unit functions, and functioning as the coordinator of communication for the unit. Responsibilities also include medical record management, facilitating patient data management through transcription, order entry, and documentation, and supporting the best use of resources in managing equipment, supplies, and other department resources. Under supervision, the position requires performing at least one higher-level competency from a list of specialized skills.
