About The Position
This position involves collaborating with the interprofessional team in the delivery of quality patient/resident care under the direction of a licensed nurse. The role includes delivering care with consideration to populations served, including age-specific needs and care, and contributing to overall unit functions. The individual will function as the coordinator of communication for the unit and assume primary responsibility for medical record management, facilitating patient data management through transcription, order entry, and documentation. The position also supports the best use of resources in managing equipment, supplies, and other department resources. Under supervision, the individual will perform at least one higher-level competency from a list of specialized skills.
