About The Position

Noom is seeking a Healthcare Operations Associate to support the expansion of Noom Med, as well as the working relationships, partnerships, and operations with compounding pharmacies and clinical vendors. You’ll help to manage pharmacy inventory, packaging, shipment, and fulfillment of medication orders, which have expanded significantly since the launch of Noom’s GLP-1Rx offering and will continue to do so with the evolution of the Noom Med program.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital healthcare, pharmacy, or telemedicine.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of relevant education.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy and/or telehealth management systems.
• Prior experience with vendor and/or program management, compounding pharmacies, and/or other healthcare operations required.
• Strong self-starter mindset, empathy, professionalism, interpersonal skills, and customer service-mindset to effectively interact with clinicians, patients, and internal teams.
• Experience in clinical quality assurance review is a plus.
• Working knowledge in medical terminology and thorough understanding of HIPAA.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to effectively communicate with medical professionals, pharmacy representatives, and patients.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Comfortable with technology, digital healthcare platforms and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge in Looker, Iterable, Mixpanel, Zendesk, Jira is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy and clinical operations, including order and patient issue resolution, inventory management, vendor management, and developing and implementing clinical programs.
• Utilize Noom Med’s vendor management systems and EMR for documentation and coordination.
• Serve as a liaison between clinicians, patients, and pharmacy ensuring seamless communication and support across departments.
• Collaborate with customer service and health coach teams to address patient needs and assist with troubleshooting issues.
• Managing Help Desk tickets in Jira (or other ticketing system) and following up with Care Coordinators.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across departments to achieve company goals and drive business success.
• Assist with clinical quality program management to ensure protocol adherence through chart audits.
• Collaborate with team and cross-functionally to develop, implement, and update new and existing clinical programs.
• Work with the BPO team, providing guidance on care coordination and prior authorization requests in line with Noom Med’s protocol.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.
