We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Dallas office. This individual will be a motivated professional with 8+ years of experience who will support project execution and design for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects with healthcare clients and project types. The ideal candidate will have experience in MEP design and engineering consulting, particularly within the healthcare industry. Support electrical design execution for various healthcare projects under the guidance of senior engineers Assist in project management tasks, including scheduling, coordination, and budgeting Prepare engineering calculations, system layouts, and equipment selections for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Assist in the preparation of cost proposals and project contracts, including add service agreements Participate in MEP systems reviews, engaging with code officials, contractors, architects, and clients to drive compliance and quality. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and regulations Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors Participate in quality control reviews of MEP system designs, calculations, and drawings Provide support to designers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams Gain experience in managing projects, with the opportunity for career growth into senior-level roles At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
