Our North America Healthcare & Life teams are based in Boston, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco. As a Senior Manager at Simon-Kucher, you will be a critical member of our HC&LS Division / Pharma & Biotech consulting team in North America.

Requirements

  • Outstanding drive, determination, and desire to be part of a growing consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for the HC&LS Division / Pharma & Biotech sector.
  • An undergraduate degree is required; MS, MA, MBA, or other advanced degree.
  • Minimum 7+ years of full-time work experience in a professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of US market access and experience leading US projects.
  • Proven business consulting expertise in growth strategies, go-to-market strategy, and pricing.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to distill insights from large data sets.
  • Effective presentation and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and managing individuals.
  • History of selling and managing new and follow-on engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of client projects while elevating the analysis and insights.
  • Drive project planning and execution by ensuring alignment of project delivery to client needs and objectives.
  • Lead and guide a large team of junior consultants to develop innovative and actionable insights.
  • Develop trusted and credible senior-level advisory relationships by delivering high-quality recommendations.
  • Engage senior client audience at all stages of their commercial growth strategy.
  • Expand and develop relevant new capabilities, tactics, and tools for clients.
  • Identify and engage with prospective clients to understand their needs.
  • Provide exceptional client service and client-focused communication.
  • Prepare client-ready deliverables and present findings to senior client audience.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and project teams concurrently.
  • Create engagement workplans and guide the team through project activities.
  • Oversee the work and outputs of team members across multiple engagements.
  • Participate in the growth and development of Simon-Kucher's HC&LS Division.
  • Develop and deliver new thought leadership in collaboration with Pharma practice peers.
  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.
  • Coach and develop consultants and be a Career Development Advisor.
  • Play an integral role in the recruitment and integration of new consultants.
