About The Position
The Healthcare Interior Design Lead at Harborview Medical Center (HMC) is responsible for providing innovative professional architecture and interior design solutions for a variety of renovation projects. This role involves developing, designing, rendering, and drafting projects as assigned, while also overseeing the interior design work of consulting architects and interior designers for capital projects. The position requires participation in design meetings, communication of project updates to various stakeholders, and maintenance of Harborview's Interior Finishes and Furnishing Standards. The lead will also provide guidance on interior solutions for the King County Harborview Bond projects, coordinate with the Facilities Maintenance Division, and manage the art program in collaboration with 4Culture and other organizations. Additionally, the lead will facilitate the Design Review Board to enhance public spaces and stay updated on industry standards and regulations.
