The Data Analytics Manager will be responsible for managing all healthcare related data analytics and business insights. This role will work with various teams at the Community Support Office & will present actionable insights to them.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels within the organization.
  • Exceptional data analysis and presentation skills – ability to pull data from various sources and to create information that is useful for making business decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with others in a virtual team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, math, finance, economics, healthcare administration, or other related field preferred.
  • 5 or more years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or senior living industries preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
  • Strong statistical knowledge for interpreting clinical and operational data.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and other Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with healthcare-specific predictive models and frameworks (e.g., hospital readmission models, patient flow models).
  • Ability to build reports that present complex data in a digestible and actionable format for healthcare professionals.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Point Click Care, Python/R & Power BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Management: Oversee the collection, cleaning, and storage of healthcare data from various sources (electronic health records, billing systems, patient surveys, etc.). Ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to maintain patient privacy.
  • Data Integration and Transformation: Integrate data from disparate sources (clinical, financial, and operational) to create comprehensive datasets that can inform decision-making. Work on transforming raw data into a structured format that can be analyzed (using tools like SQL, Python, or ETL processes).
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use statistical methods and data analytics tools (like Python, R, Excel, or Power BI) to analyze data and extract meaningful insights. Develop and automate dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care, hospital performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Predictive Analytics: Leverage machine learning and predictive models to forecast patient outcomes, readmission rates, or operational bottlenecks. Use historical data to identify trends and patterns that can help improve clinical and administrative decision-making.
