The Healthcare Data Analyst is a critical role for HealthEZ, seeking to transform data into actionable business insights using Power BI and advanced analytics. You will be responsible for creating compelling visualizations, conducting in-depth analyses, and communicating insights to account management and product teams to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with exceptional communication abilities and expertise in Power BI development.

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of business performance, customer behavior, and product metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement using our healthcare data.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to account management and product teams through executive summaries, presentations, and data storytelling.
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insights for account management and product teams.
  • Collaborate closely with account managers and product teams to understand business requirements, define KPIs, and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
  • Track and analyze claim performance, product usage metrics, and business KPIs to support strategic planning and operational decisions.
  • Transform complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives that drive business action and strategic initiatives to impact our members and population health.
  • Develop automated reporting solutions to streamline regular business reviews and performance tracking; specific to Cost Containment, Product Performance, Stop Loss Risk Mitigation, Population Health Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered with 2-4 years in data analysis, business intelligence, or related analytical roles in healthcare.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and Excel. Experience in Fabric or similar Microsoft products. Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis preferred.
  • Outstanding presentation and written communication skills with ability to explain complex analytical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, statistical knowledge, and ability to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Experience managing multiple analytical projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven track record of creating Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Background in account management support, product analytics, or business performance analysis.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and enterprise reporting standards.
