About The Position

The Healthcare Customer Service Representative role at Adecco involves providing exceptional customer service to healthcare providers by handling a high volume of incoming calls. This position is remote but requires candidates to reside in California. The representative will assist with inquiries related to claims, authorizations, and appeals while ensuring compliance with HIPAA requirements and maintaining high accuracy in service delivery.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Excel and Word required; Access, Outlook, PowerPoint preferable
  • Essential keyboard skills
  • Ability to multitask and utilize multiple system applications simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently handle a high volume of incoming calls, answering 50-70 inbound calls daily.
  • Assist providers with inquiries related to claims, authorizations, and appeals, maintaining a quality level of 95% accuracy.
  • Ask proper questions to complete the task of the call.
  • Deliver service that meets or exceeds department performance standards for Average Hold Time, Abandonment Rate, Talk Time, Quality, and Adherence.
  • Follow up with callers to ensure provider satisfaction and timely response to requests.
  • Diffuse irate or emotionally upset customers by listening to issues and providing positive solutions.
  • Respond timely and accurately to team chats and emails.
  • Document every call thoroughly, professionally, and accurately.
  • Verify HIPAA requirements to ensure account accuracy.
