About The Position

The Healthcare Consulting - Provider Operations Manager at EY is responsible for leading client engagement teams and delivering professional services to healthcare organizations. This role focuses on operational improvement, financial quantification, cost reduction, and workflow redesign in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. The manager will work with a diverse range of clients, including hospitals and healthcare systems, to help them navigate challenges and implement transformative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience, or a master's degree and approximately 4 years of related work experience.
• Approximately 4 years of healthcare consulting experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Ability to read and interpret hospital financial statements and contract terms.
• Experience with operational process mapping and healthcare cost reduction planning.
• Experience in healthcare organization M&A, physician alignment, or financial margin improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, and/or Business; CPA, MBA, MHA and/or MPH.
