Stanford Medicine Catalyst was created to cultivate and advance the unmatched innovation that occurs at Stanford. We select the inventions and ideas that have the highest potential to have a transformative effect on health and biomedicine at global scale and support them to evolve and prepare for commercialization through pilot projects, prototyping, deployment in active health systems, business planning, market analysis, connections with the investment community and the development of future executive leadership teams. The program leverages the full range of resources and capabilities of Stanford, including all aspects of the University and Stanford's health systems (Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children's Health). Catalyst was formed as part of the Stanford Medicine Integrated Strategic Plan and is supported by the Dean of the School of Medicine and the two CEOs of the health systems. At Stanford Medicine we are inventing the future and improving patient lives every day. Few positions have a more direct impact on launching Stanford innovation to make a worldwide impact and interact directly with such an amazing array of individuals. We hope you will join us! We are seeking a Catalyst Business Analyst, to facilitate and administer programs or functions under minimal supervision. The Catalyst program identifies strong candidates for translational projects inside the Stanford Medicine clinical areas to validate and de-risk medical innovations. The Business Analyst (BA) role is a critical part of this mission. This person will review candidate projects. After project selection, the BA may continue to assist a project's development. Ideal candidates will have a passion for healthcare, the pulse of the healthcare startup community, and know how to talk to, and interface with, brilliant entrepreneurs.
