About The Position

The Healthcare Business Analyst Sr. at Novant Health is responsible for creating and implementing reports and analyses that enhance the effectiveness of health management initiatives. This role requires extensive knowledge of healthcare and clinical business processes, managing healthcare outcome projects, and serving as a liaison among business, clinical, and technology teams to meet healthcare expectations. The analyst will also guide less experienced analysts and work on complex systems analysis tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare/clinical field.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a Payor, Acute, or Ambulatory care environment.
• Detailed knowledge of clinical information and processes.
• Ability to translate clinical data to a technical team.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory mandates and reporting requirements.
• Strong understanding of business processes in the healthcare industry.
• Ability to work with teams and direct organized work efforts.
• Competent in handling complex analysis assignments under deadlines.
• Proficiency in multiple business intelligence tools (e.g., SAS, IBM, Microsoft).
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of healthcare personnel.
• Experience in developing strategies to affect cost and quality.
• Ability to identify trends and produce forecasts.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities
