The successful candidate for the Healthcare Biller position will perform a review of billing errors and edits for a facility, ensuring claims are billed out within 24 hours. This role requires thriving in a busy environment and the ability to multi-task successfully.

Requirements

• 2-3 years in medical facility billing
• Healthcare Billing experience is required
• High School Diploma; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of medical coding and billing systems
• Proficiency in Excel, payer portals, and claims clearinghouses

Responsibilities

• Analyze and correct billing errors and edits related to a medical facility
• Work on clearinghouse rejections and ensure claims are billed within 24 hours
• Accurately enter patient and guarantor details
• Ensure correct entry of insurance information
• Enter charges with all necessary details like date of service, providers, procedure codes, and modifiers
• Adhere to productivity and quality standards
• Suggest improvements and forecast workflow challenges
