About The Position

Woolpert is hiring an experienced Healthcare Architect to join our dynamic Healthcare Architecture Team at our Coral Gables, FL office. The candidate will be working on multiple projects of varying size and complexities and would support full-time in-person or hybrid options. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located. #LI-SN1

Requirements

  • 10 years’ experience in architecture
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture; master’s degree a plus
  • Florida Architectural License or NCARB certification required
  • Must enjoy collaborating with a design team
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Advanced-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to apply architectural principles to buildings/structures and their components or assemblies.
  • Ability to handle designing and drafting assignments including site plans, floor plans, elevations, and sections required
  • Self-motivated to meet deadlines and improve process and deliverables
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Ability to write reports and specifications required

  • LEED accreditation preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the conceptual design of healthcare projects and provide full support through the entire project life cycle.
  • Can serve as a SME on specialized systems
  • Develop and represent lead technical viewpoint on projects
  • Coordinate with project lead on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies
  • Review completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations
  • Create and modify architectural project designs and drawings; design review and project scheduling
  • Prepare graphics, presentations, contract drawings, and regulatory submissions
  • Organize and maintain project record information and drawings
  • Coordinate with clients, project consultants, and engineers
  • Plan and supervise design and/or technical work of less senior architects and technicians
