To learn more about us, visit www.impact-advisors.com We are seeking an experienced Engagement Lead to serve as the strategic and operational leader for the Data and AI during a large-scale consolidation of three Epic instances into a single, unified platform. This role will be in a client-facing capacity, operating within a “Two-in-a-Box” partnership model alongside client and Epic Systems leadership to drive enterprise analytics strategy, transition planning, platform migration, and post–go-live optimization. The role includes a comprehensive assessment of the data platform, warehouse, and architecture landscape, including review of Master Data Management (MDM) strategies, evaluation of in-flight data warehouse initiatives, and identification of dependencies between analytics solutions and legacy systems. The Engagement Lead will assess downstream reporting and operational impacts to support a seamless transition. A core responsibility will be evaluating and executing the migration of analytics capabilities to Epic’s native toolsets, including Epic Cogito and Epic Nebula, while identifying opportunities to sunset legacy analytics platforms. The role will also review existing AI and advanced analytics initiatives dependent on legacy data sources and define future-state AI and enterprise analytics strategies aligned to the consolidated environment. Additionally, the Engagement Lead will develop analytics staffing models aligned to the overall program cost structure, coordinate analytics activities across clinical, revenue cycle, operational, and technical workstreams, and support governance within the Two-in-the-Box framework. Post go-live, this leader will drive analytics optimization, KPI tracking, performance monitoring, legacy system decommissioning, analytics conversion, and data archival and retention planning to ensure long-term value realization from the consolidation initiative.

Requirements

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience lead and/or supporting Epic EHR analytics in large‑scale healthcare environments
  • 2+ years Hands‑on experience with Epic analytics platforms (explicitly Cogito and Nebula)
  • 2+ years Experience supporting Epic‑to‑Epic migrations or multi‑instance Epic consolidations
  • Strong background in healthcare data warehousing, reporting, and operational analytics
  • Ability to facilitate cross‑functional analytics discussions with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Experience reviewing or supporting enterprise MDM strategies
  • Exposure to AI or advanced analytics initiatives in healthcare environments

Nice To Haves

  • Strong documentation skills for enterprise recommendations, summaries, and executive‑level outputs
  • Comfortable working in hybrid/remote delivery models with periodic onsite participation for key milestones
  • Experience with legacy analytics platform decommissioning and transition planning
  • Ability to operate within matrixed, multi‑stakeholder governance models (health system, Epic, consulting partner)
