The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine invites applications for the role of Health Workforce Data Analyst, supporting BeHERE NV (Behavioral Health Workforce Data Analyst for the Behavioral Health Education, Retention, and Expansion Network of Nevada). The Health Workforce Data Analyst will be responsible for behavioral health workforce research, evaluation collection and assimilation, data analysis and tracking, and writing reports to support the Behavioral Health Education, Retention and Expansion Network of Nevada (BeHERE NV) in accordance with Assembly Bill 37 from the Nevada 82nd Legislative Session (2023). AB 37 authorizes the Board of Regents to establish a behavioral health workforce development center (i.e., BeHERE NV) at one or more institutions within the Nevada System of Higher Education. The organization will employ a “hub and spoke” model, with spokes to regional hubs in NSHE institutions across the state. The Data Analyst will be housed in the Office of Statewide Initiatives (OSI) at University of Nevada Reno (UNR) and reports to Program Director, Health Workforce Research. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter that actively seeks and utilizes innovative methods to collect and analyze data. This candidate will demonstrate aptitude and comfort with presenting complex ideas to diverse stakeholder groups that may have differing levels of health and/or data literacy.
