Hope For Youth proudly offers a full-day, accredited education program in two structured classrooms at our Amityville location. We also provide continued academic support to residents attending their local public schools. Our dedicated Education team-made up of both full-time and part-time staff-works closely with students throughout the academic year to help them succeed. Beyond the classroom, our education staff plays an active role in supporting residents as they work toward personal goals, including internships, vocational opportunities, and meaningful community involvement. We're excited to share that Hope For Youth currently has an opening for a Health & Wellness Teacher/Teacher's Aide within our Education Program. This position reports to the Education Coordinator and offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the youth we serve. To be a successful Health & Wellness Teacher/Teacher's Aide you must be ready, willing and able to do the following always: Function with agency's policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual Function within the agency's policy and procedures as outlined in the program guide and applicable codes of conduct Achieve successful outcomes within guidelines outlined in NYS, County and HFY policy and procedure (shared)
