About The Position

The Health & Wellness Screener is responsible for performing clerical and clinical functions related to Parkview Workplace Wellness and contracted workplace employees. This role involves attending on-site wellness screening events to collect biometric measurements and perform phlebotomy for participants. The screener greets patients courteously, registers them using the Workplace Wellness database, and ensures a positive experience for all participants.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of education as a medical assistant, phlebotomist, emergency medical technician, or pharmacy technician preferred.
• Current CPR (AHA) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Completed externship or equivalent training in a medical office or hospital setting.
• Minimum of one year of experience in medical assisting, phlebotomy, pharmacy technician, emergency medical technician, or related experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Associate Degree in Applied Science in Medical or related field preferred.
• Experience managing cash and credit card payments is a plus.
• Familiarity with computers and electronic medical record experience preferred.

Responsibilities
