About The Position
This position supports the work of the SRYMCA, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Health and Wellness Director will be responsible for supervising all department staff, managing budgets, and programming for the Branch Wellness department. This position will work in conjunction with CEO, ED’s and fellow Wellness Directors in the association to support a wellness department culture which sustains and grows personal training, small group training, group exercise, and health initiatives within the branch as well as across the association. The Health and Wellness Director will work collaboratively with all branch staff, especially with membership staff, to ensure the successful delivery and achievement of member acquisition, engagement and retention strategies including tours, member spotlights, healthy start, AOA programming, fitness challenges, functional training, and additional programing as needed.
