About The Position
The Health Unit Coordinator, through communication, requisitioning and management of supplies and equipment, coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician and other hospital departments and visitors. He/she performs general receptionist, clerical and support duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of computer programs and office equipment required
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree and acute care facility or medical office experience as a Medical Assistant
