Health Unit Coordinator | Surgical Care Unit
About The Position
As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for the Surgical Care Unit, you serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities will include greeting and assisting patients/families, guests, and providers as well as managing telephone communications, organizing and maintaining patient charts, monitoring security of locked unit entry badging system, and performing clerical and receptionist duties to support patient care. Schedule Part-time | 36-48 hours every two weeks | Onsite Day shift | 12-hour shifts | 7:00am-7:30pm Every 3rd weekend (Fri-Sun) | rotating holidays Pay and Benefits: Starting pay begins at $17.83 per hour and increases with experience Pay range: $16.59 - $24.92 per hour benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required. One year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred.
