About The Position

Find your purpose as a Health Unit Coordinator in the Inpatient Behavioral Health Units at the St Cloud Hospital - CentraCare! As a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) for Inpatient Behavioral Health you will serve a vital role in being the communication link for the unit. Responsibilities include processing of physician orders, maintaining the patient's chart and performing clerical/receptionist duties to support patient care staff.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience/knowledge required
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Minimum of one year experience with office procedures and equipment with computer experience preferred

Nice To Haves

• National Health Unit Coordinator certification preferred
• Previous experience utilizing an EMR (electronic medical record) preferred

Responsibilities

Benefits

• Starting pay begins at $17.83 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
• Pay range: $16.59-$25.54 per hour
