The COACH - Community and Opportunities at Children's Hospital - internship program mission is to create a pathway for emerging healthcare professionals, offering hands-on experience, structured development, and dedicated mentorship. The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 8-Friday, August 14, 2026 . In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week. Interns will earn $17.50-$21.50/hour. This role is fully on-site in Boston . Specific work hours will be determined by the supervisor.

  • You are an undergraduate college student in good academic standing and will be enrolled in a two-or four-year program for Fall 2026, and you are interested in working in healthcare

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on medical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of biomedical devices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure equipment meets clinical needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Attend a 2-day program orientation and onboarding
  • Participate in virtual and in-person workshops and activities
