Overview The Health Systems Partnerships Lead is responsible for our end-to-end engagement and collaborations with Health Systems. This includes building and maintaining relationships, driving contracting, onboarding, managing technical integration strategy and implementation, and ensuring operational enablement. This role bridges our research mission with the complex technical, clinical, and governance environments of health systems to ensure high-quality, compliant, and scalable real-world data delivery. You will, be the primary point of contact with each health system including health systems leaders, IT, informatics, and clinical teams, as well as internal Product, Engineering, Clinical Operations, Legal, and Finance stakeholders within TargetRWE. In addition to technical enablement, this role supports site readiness and activation by coordinating contracting workflows, including Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs) and site budgets, as part of a unified onboarding motion. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building durable processes, and maintaining strong partner relationships while driving day-to-day execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Health Care Data Interoperability, health system integration, health data enablement, solutions engineering, or related roles
  • Direct experience working with health systems, hospital IT, or clinical informatics teams
  • Strong familiarity with EHR platforms and healthcare data standards (Epic, Cerner, FHIR, HL7)
  • Experience supporting data ingestion, interoperability, and data quality workflows
  • Understanding of healthcare data governance, privacy, and security requirements
  • Experience coordinating or supporting Clinical Trial Agreements and site startup workflows
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication skills across technical, clinical, and executive audiences

  • Experience in a health tech startup or high-growth environment
  • Exposure to AI/ML-driven or data-intensive healthcare products
  • Background in clinical operations, informatics, or healthcare consulting

Responsibilities

  • Lead health system onboarding from discovery through go-live and optimization across speed and feasibility
  • Own data ingestion and integration efforts, including validation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Serve as the primary partner for health system technical and clinical teams
  • Translate product, contractual, and research goals into clear implementation plans and timelines
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to support EHR, FHIR, and HL7-based workflows
  • Coordinate site-facing contracting workflows (CTAs and budgets) in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Clinical Operations
  • Proactively identify risks, unblock delays, and maintain momentum across onboarding and activation
  • Navigate data governance, privacy, and security requirements (HIPAA, SOC 2, DUAs)
  • Document and scale onboarding playbooks, governance processes, and best practices
