Purpose: To oversee the clinical and operational aspects of health care delivery across multiple states. This role involves leading and supporting the Director of Health Services, ensuring high standards of care, implementing best practices, managing recruitment and education efforts, and conducting investigations into clinical and operational issues.

Requirements

  • Successfully completes the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings.
  • Maintains a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved drivers.
  • Proficient with WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK and basic computer skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within a healthcare setting.
  • Clinical experience, with a background in nursing or related health care professions.
  • Active nursing license or relevant certifications in healthcare management in the states overseeing.
  • Multistate preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certifications in health care quality or management (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or IDD population) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Review and standardize nursing duties for optimized efficiency.
  • Create and conduct trainings for new Director of Health Services and RNs.
  • Create and conduct training for nurses on consistent monitoring, communication and intervention when a person experiences changes in behaviors/health.
  • Create and conduct a series of monthly trainings for all levels (DHS, RNs, LPNs).
  • Conduct at least quarterly reviews of each area’s medical documentation and implement interventions as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings as needed for those supported requiring special reviews due to deteriorating health.
  • Member of Critical Response Team.
  • Assess overall health and wellness practices and encourage healthy living initiatives
  • Collaborate with the state director to review and analyze health services reports, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provide recommendations and actionable insights to the state director for improving health service delivery and addressing gaps or areas of improvement identified in reviews.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
