About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health or health sciences.
• At least 1 year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level, including scientific leadership in public health studies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement, and analyze scientific and epidemiological projects.
• Identify and analyze public health issues impacting binational and mobile populations along the U.S.-Mexico Southern border.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders including CDC Centers, federal agencies, and local health agencies.
• Provide epidemiological and scientific technical advice to health agencies.
• Serve as a Project Officer on grants and cooperative agreements, managing monitoring and management duties.
