About The Position

RH is seeking a strategic Health & Safety Specialist to help advance a proactive, compliant, and people-first health and safety culture across RH operations. This role partners closely with cross-functional leaders to design, implement, and continuously improve health and safety programs while serving as a trusted subject-matter expert. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Live our Vision, Values, and Beliefs Develop, implement, and maintain Health & Safety (H&S) strategies, policies, and procedures Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations across RH operations Lead the Workers’ Compensation program, including injury reporting, claims coordination, and partnership with insurance carriers and third-party administrators Perform safety audits and inspections to verify compliance with company standards Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning Oversee injury reporting processes and support post-incident recovery and return-to-work efforts Lead international Health & Safety initiatives in support of RH’s global expansion Partner with operational and functional leaders on continuous improvement initiatives OUR REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably within retail, hospitality, supply chain, manufacturing, or similar environments General understanding of global safety and health standards (OSHA, HSE, EU-OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI) Demonstrated experience developing H&S programs, delivering training, and influencing change across an organization Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and customer-service mindset Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequently sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time during audits, inspections, meetings, and training sessions Occasionally travel to multiple work sites (e.g., offices, retail locations, warehouses, manufacturing or supply chain facilities), including occasional domestic and international travel Navigate operational environments, including walking on concrete floors, climbing stairs, and moving through active work areas Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching as needed to conduct safety inspections and incident investigations Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds (e.g., safety equipment, training materials, audit tools) Communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and via video conference with employees, leaders, and external partners Visual and auditory ability sufficient to identify hazards, review documentation, and participate in investigations and training activities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably within retail, hospitality, supply chain, manufacturing, or similar environments
  • General understanding of global safety and health standards (OSHA, HSE, EU-OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI)
  • Demonstrated experience developing H&S programs, delivering training, and influencing change across an organization
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer-service mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
