Element provides an essential supply of recycled products to America's battery manufacturers to produce high-quality, top-performing batteries to power cars, trucks and forklifts, which are vital to keeping our country's supply chain running. This position will be responsible for providing and maintaining technical health and safety support to production and administrative personnel. The following will also be required: Development of all plant health and safety programs and their objectives. Coordination of health and safety training programs. Spending time on the plant floor with employees, mentoring and monitoring the H&S program Monitoring Federal and State regulations to ensure compliance, while ensuring that all federal, state, and Element Resources policies and regulations pertaining to industrial hygiene (i.e. personal protective equipment, sanitary facilities, emergency equipment, air quality, etc.) are met. Qualified candidates must be a self-starter with proven leadership and communication skills and will possess the ability to work with individuals from varied backgrounds, skills, and education levels to complete projects in an efficient and organized manner.
