Requirements

• Experience and/or coursework in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
• Experience with field inspections is a plus.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist safety personnel with the review and filing of safety documents.
• Update Health & Safety Plans.
• Conduct field inspections.
• Evaluate hazard mitigation methods and ensure their use.
• Provide direction on Federal, State, and local regulatory compliance (i.e., OSHA).
• Conduct self in accordance with the safety professional's code of conduct.
• Participate in risk assessments.
• Identify potential hazards and propose corrective measures to leadership.
• Present safety meeting topics.
• Ensure employees are adequately equipped to perform their task safely.
• Assist office and safety personnel with a variety of office related tasks.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
