About The Position

The Health Program Specialist serves as the Grants Specialist, managing and leading complex, highly sensitive activities related to the development and implementation of health program and public health infrastructure grant projects. This role involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, including executives, external state and local partners, and consultants. The specialist functions as a highly skilled technical program expert, coordinating the development of grants, policy, and complex programs impacting multiple internal and external governmental and local partners. Responsibilities include leading collaborative efforts on programmatic inquiries, assisting with the coordination of programmatic grant deliverables, and maintaining a working knowledge of grant budgets.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of state and federal fiscal and programmatic processes.
  • Experience with project management and planning.
  • Experience in grants administration and/or management.
  • Experience contributing to a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in developing equitable processes for quality and performance improvement.

Responsibilities
