BPC's Summer Internship Program BPC has a robust spring internship program. Interns work full time and will receive a $6,000 stipend for ten weeks of work. Interns must be a rising Junior or above. Applicants must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate program or a be recent graduate. Interns will provide functional support, conduct research, and work directly with project analysts and staff in various capacities. Our Summer Internship program runs from June 1 to August 7, 2026. Please note that this summer internship is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position, with on-site work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at BPC’s office at 1225 I (Eye) Street in Washington, DC. Relocation assistance will not be provided. Project Description BPC’s Health Policy Program advances bipartisan policy solutions to build a more cost-effective, evidence-based health care system and to improve population health. We work to strengthen and sustain Medicare and Medicaid, accelerate the shift toward value, address inefficiencies and misaligned incentives, and responsibly leverage technology and innovation. Prospective interns may work on a variety of policy areas across the Health team’s portfolio and will be assigned based on the intern’s policy interests and the team’s current project needs. Applicants are encouraged to review the policy areas within the Health Program prior to applying to determine which areas they would be most interested in exploring and to include areas of interest in their application. Interns will work with project staff on policy research, writing info briefs and blogs, event planning, congressional tracking, communications tasks, and administrative responsibilities, as needed.
