About The Position

Are you motivated by the opportunity to improve access to high quality health care for Vermonters?   The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB), Vermont's independent health care regulatory agency, is seeking Health Policy Analyst & Administrator. This position will help the board’s Policy Team stand up a hospital and health system quality and access measurement framework that can be used to support the Board’s regulatory work. Under the direction of the Project Director for Quality, Access, and Planning, this role will conduct independent quantitative and qualitative analysis, perform a range of regulatory duties, draft policy materials for diverse audiences, support stakeholder engagement processes, and coordinate with contractors and cross-agency partners to operationalize initiatives and statutory requirements. Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.) in relevant field AND three (3) years or more of professional level experience in administration, public policy, public health, government, health care or human services field.
  • Bachelor's degree AND five (5) years or more of professional level experience in administration, public policy, public health, government, health care or human services field.
